FAQs

What’s your turnaround time?
Simple jobs can often be done on the spot. Standard turnaround from proof to print is about 3 business days. Tight deadline? We’ll do our best to make it happen.

What file type should I send?
We prefer PDFs — they lock fonts, graphics, and photos so what you send is exactly what we print.

What do you need for a quote?

  • Quantity / number of pages
  • Colour or B&W
  • Single or double sided
  • Finished size (A3, A4, DLE etc.)
  • Finishing required (folding, laminating, binding etc.)
  • Paper stock
  • Does the print go to the edge of the page?

Do you offer proofs?
Yes — we recommend proofs to check colour, layout, and details before the final run.

Can I email my job?
Yes! Email us at print@pukka.nz.
Large file? Send a Dropbox link, or pop in with a flash drive. Free parking and friendly faces included.

What’s “bleed”?
Bleed is the margin added to your design so images and colours print neatly to the edge. We require at least 2mm.

Can you design my file?
Yes — our in-house design team can create professional, print-ready files for you.

What paper do you stock?
A wide range: gloss, matt, textured, metallic and more. We’ll help you pick the perfect stock and can print a proof so you can see the result.
